JEROME GODBOO – Begins At The 49:30 Mark Jerome has been on stages for over 30 years and took home the Lee Oskar Harmonica Player Award at the 2014 IBC. Now, he leads the band Godboogie and they’ve released the album Play Music & Dance…good advice. Jerome and I discussed his journey from Western Canada to Toronto and the world, while we listened to and talked about the music on the new album. JIM ROBERTS – Begins At The 1:33:30 Mark Jim has a new project. It is now called Jim Roberts & The Resonants. I finally got to sit Jim down to talk about his journey to today, including the detours the road took him on while we listened to music from Beneath The Blood Moon. JANIVA MAGNESS – COUCH KID NEW MUSIC Begins At The 2:18:00 Mark Janiva returned with her latest hit, Blue Again. On this one, Janiva takes on six classic Blues songs and makes them her own. She and I talked about her last year, the reasons she selected the songs for this album and Janiva had a moving answer to the question; “Do the awards and accolades still mean something after all these years…”
