Mycology is an emerging science, and today we joined by one of Nigeria's few mycologists to talk about this emergence in Nigeria and West Africa. We cover a wide range of topics from folklore, Jones' research on Calocybe indica (aka the Milky Mushroom), innovative cultivation tech with local resources, and more.

Jones Omage is a Laboratory Technologist at the African Centre for Mushroom Research and Technology. His love for mushrooms started some years ago as an undergraduate student years, and he has a master’s in Mycology and Plant Pathology from the University of Benin in Nigeria.
