Dalton Spangler is a music journalist based out of New Orleans who frequently covers the local scene in Offbeat Magazine. His other projects include his newsletter, Orbiting Punk, and freelance journalism with other publications. His old podcast, Off the Record VDT, was a huge inspiration for MMP, and having him on was a joy. The episode's topics include the metaphysics of cassettes, New Orleans' wariness of outsiders, and the place of zines in the modern world. And y'know, his journalism.
