Amin Matalqa made a movie after being challenged by David Pritchard, an executive producer for “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.” There’s much more to the story than that, of course, but let me just add a few choice hints. Pritchard told the Jordanian writer and director to make it a comedy, something in which Charlie Chaplin would have wanted to star. And you know what?
