Who is Romy?
I'm the Data and Performance Engineer of Jamie Whincup at the Red Bull Holden Racing team. I'm original from Germany, where i studied Automotive Engineering and have been working with the DTM Team of Mercedes for 5 years before I came to Australia in 2015.
I'm an ambassador for Dare to be Different, which has been launch in April this year in Australia. Dare to be Different is a nonprofit organisation whose primary objective is aimed at increasing the participation of women in all forms of motor racing. It also desires to change the views of women in perceived male-dominated industries. I'm proud to be part of establishing this project here in Australia.
