There are more and more people telling their story in hopes of feeling better, being heard and making a change. But not ever story is helping end the cycle of abuse, some are triggering more abuse, or causing chaos in their own lives without knowing it. When you have it on your heart to tell your story, it sparks a change, for some this is empowering and for others crippling.
\n\nThis episode is meant to help you tell your story and feel great about it. I (Dr. Lisha Antiqua) began telling my story years ago, with the hopes of helping survivors heal with more ease, and also to rid myself of it's heavy weight. The early days of advocacy were hard and because I didn't have anyone to guild so I may have caused more harm than good to my audiences. In this show I share the aspects of advocacy and talking about hard topics like abuse, so you can do better, although sometimes the truth can get raw, it is how you share that matters. Let me know what you think of this podcast and please share it with survivors and advocates in your life. Together we end the cycle of abuse, by talking about it, healing within it and living our best lives.\n\nLet me know what you think of this podcast and please share it with survivors and advocates in your life.
