b"With a distinctly contemplative and organic theme to the first 6 into a half dozen tracks linked by spacy synths underpinned with latin inspired percussive patterns and the odd punch from a Disco beat, this really is game of 2 halves. I have still tried to shape a gradual build across the set, taking in a fair few styles.\\n\\n In my mind, no one cuts it up quite like Phil Gerus, so a seemingly Cyndi Lauper/Atlantic Conveyor inspired production from him opens the shop up to make headway for a lovely and original piece of Afro production from Yuruba Soul. Loving the open groove of 'Another One' and the almost indie like qualities of the Lane 8 track as the 1st of 2 quality offerings from AnjunaDeep on this outing. After hearing it on the HHA 1st May Real House Radio podcast, the Vince Watson track had to feature, lovely chords and keys and, a groove that is fair infectious! Always good things coming from the Vortex.\\n\\nI guess that based on a recent viewing of InterStellar, that 'Space' was also a bit of an inspiration for this mix. With, to my mind, 'Sueno Latino' influences, I do rate the spacy, melodic and solid production from Lionel Weets on T7. In a more progressive direction, the magnitude of 'The Bridge' will no doubt, become apparent :) ... Kosheen meets Shurikan on a London Label, Way Out West?\\n\\nA continuation of the vocal theme, comes in a nice tightly packaged track from a GU compilation that I had previously overlooked. A diversion into Tech house delivers a 'ChunkyButCheeky' vibe. The electronic pulse that is Detroit,is never far from the top of my InspirationPool and as I recall, '92 was a very good year in the vineyards of Michigan and so, more unashamed homage is paid to the great city and a legendary pair of its producers/remixers, nice to see MarKinchen is still 'Burnin' up on the scene. Finally on the dozen, Some more dreamy, spacy chords with dirty dubby stuff for bins and snappy snares help in 'taking it down', like Idris in Prometheus. \\n\\nThanks to everyone that follows, plays and downloads, I hope that you enjoy the episode and maybe it takes you on a journey...
