Well, this is it. The final episode of Monday Night Magic. Well, for now at least. But first we\'re covering the 2020 Grand Finals with its incredibly healthy meta and wonderful future for its winner. Oh...wait. Then we\'re gonna cover the Ban list update that should have happened a few weeks ago. Then there are a few more bits of news to cover (since we are a Magic news podcast after all). We\'ve got Kaladesh Remastered, delays for Commander Legends, MTG watches & bags, and the upcoming Eternal Weekend on MTGO!
Only after we\'ve covered all the news, it\'s time we had the talk. Chewie, Cluze, and Squee go into greater detail about why we\'ve decided to stop MNM. There\'s a lot, and rest assured that this isn\'t a snap decision or a rage quit. This is something that\'s been kicking around in our heads for a long while, but WotC\'s recent descent into utter corporate greed has made the decision a lot easier to make. But we will miss you all while we\'re gone. We wouldn\'t have been going anywhere NEAR as long as we have without all of you here with us, and we appreciate you. But, as you\'ll hear in the episode, we have a multitude of reasons for stopping here. But until we meet again, don\'t say goodbye. Say good journey. Live the journey, for every destination is but a doorway to another.
You damn right I quoted the terrible Masters of the Universe movie in the show notes for this episode.
