Mike, Max and Shane discuss shooting a TV pilot, their experience with Nick Carter, building credibility, Max's airplane encounter with Ruby Rose, Shane's TIFF incident with Jason Schwartzman and making small talk. Richard Linklater ("Boyhood," "Dazed and Confused") tells Mike about playing baseball, casting athletic actors in "Everybody Wants Some!!," developing chemistry, how he tells stories, college identity and toggling between long-term and standalone films. For dessert, Shane describes getting new glasses, plans an Arkells video shoot, announces his engagement to Alex and makes Mike best man.
