We talk with Rex Halfpenny in this interview from A Rising Tide Archives.\\xa0 Rex and his wife Mary founded Michigan Beer Guide, a publication devoted to Michigan Beer in 1997.\\xa0 His voice and urging was a catalyst for the formation of the Michigan Brewers Guild later that same year, and he served as the Guild\'s first Executive Director during the inaugural Summer Beer Festival.\\xa0 Fred talks with Rex at Motor City Brewery Works in Fall of 2018. \\xa0Rex and Mary are now Happily retired from 23 years of self employment publishing Michigan Beer Guide.
