Stres Allocation

What I've noticed a lot these past couple weeks is people stress has been reallocated. A very wise, wise friend of mine, Adrian, told me one time when I was kind of stressing about some stuff. When I was starting a failing business or a business ended up failing, they told me he said, Man, he said, There there is a finite amount of stress in the world. It's going to go somewhere you'll never be without it. You will always have some form of stress, he said. The key is you gotta figure out which stresses worth absorbing and dealing with. And which dress must you let go to reallocate that somewhere else? And so that's always stuck with me because to me, it makes sense because if, for example, if you're stressed about money, well, if you're stressed about money, you're not stressed about your health, you're not stressed about your kids having a good life or you're not stressed about your job, you know?

So there are different buckets to replace to stress in. I think that what we're going through right now is the stress has been reallocated from the things that were quote-unquote normal 23 months ago, you know, to more basic almost more primitive stressors like Okay, is it safe to go get groceries right? When should I go get groceries? When there's gonna be fewer people at the store, so on and so forth. And so, you know, I think that what really stood out to me this whole time is stress. And so what I want to talk a little bit about is that is, is how do we factor what stresses in our life, get our attention and get our time and get our energy right?
