How do you practice “letting go”?

What does “letting go” even really mean?

Can you “let go” AND still take powerful, effective action?

In this episode, my guest, the brilliant and wise author, teacher, lecturer, sage, Peter Russell, and I mine these questions and more to help make a meaningful difference in your life.

Peter Russell is indeed a wise, wise man. …

In a world devoid of true elders, Peter is a true elder. Back in the 80s, Peter became renown for speaking this term “The Global Brain” into the cultural zeitgeist of the day, with his bestselling book of that name, the Global Brain. In that book way back in the 80s, Peter predicted the creation of the internet and the impact it would have on humanity … and I certainly ask him about the state of humanity today.

In fact, in today’s episode we’re talking about the practice of “Letting Go.” It’s the subject of his new book, “Letting go of Nothing” and it’s something I’ve been in the intentional practice of learning how to do for many many years … and still I hold on like hell constantly! Daily!

So we talk about what it really means to let go, in a world full of things that hook and stress our minds, and challenge us daily, and I ask Peter perhaps one of the most important questions I’ve ever asked a guest: … if you were President of the USA today, how would you do your job and STILL practice letting go. And I love his answer. Stay tuned for it.

Peter earned degrees in theoretical physics, psychology, and computer science at the University of Cambridge in England, where he studied for a time with Stephen Hawking.

At Cambridge University (UK), he became increasingly fascinated by the mysteries of the human mind, which led him to travel to India to study meditation and eastern philosophy. When he came back he took up the first research post ever offered in Britain on the psychology of meditation.

Peter is indeed an incredible man with a life interestingly lived …

I’m super excited to have Peter on the podcast today, and I’m confident you’ll be deeply inspired by our conversation as well.

Now, take a deep breath, and stay present with me, all the way through to the end of this episode of Men, This Way …

Alright …

Let’s dive …
