Are you doing work every day of your life that you’re not aligned with?

Are you having the uncomfortable conversations you need to be having with the people you love?

Do you know how to love without losing yourself?

I first met Mark Groves about 7 or 8 years ago in Los Angeles through a group of friends doing inspired entrepreneurial work in the world.

At the time, Mark was going through a massive transition in his life, having ended both a marriage engagement to his long-time girlfriend and also his 14-year career as a well-paid pharmaceutical sales rep. He was experiencing a deeper awakening that forced him to acknowledge his choices were no longer in alignment with what he was discovering about himself, and his courageous choice to stop living out of integrity with his deeper truths – like all courageous choices – quickly flung him off the cliff into a holy shit freefall of total uncertainty and deep identity crisis.

If you’ve ever experienced that – as I did when I left the military at 26 with no idea where to go from there – it’s all “what the hell am I supposed to do now?” and “who am I if I’m not my work and my relationship?” … which can be terrifying to the mind that craves certainty.

But once Mark found some solid footing on his new path, which did take some years of searching and deep inquiry and the courageous willingness to STAY in the unknown, his work, his presence exploded onto the social media scene, particularly on Instagram, where he now has over a quarter million engaged readers on his popular page, CreateTheLove.

Mark left a lasting impression on me the first time I met him. He was humble, sincere, and just easy to be around. I also found myself laughing a lot in his presence. I loved reconnecting with Mark through this episode, and I again laughed a lot, because even as we dive deep, he brings his sense of humor with him. Mark shares a lot about his journey through leaving work he didn’t love, leaving a relationship that didn’t fit, and the joys and challenges he’s experienced since in creating a beautiful relationship with his partner, Kylie Macbeath, another inspiring, and beloved-by-many Instagram blogger. I’m really excited to share this raw, honest conversation full of Mark’s hard-earned insights and wisdom with you.
