Blood Rites Chapter 25 Summary:

Trixie holds Dresden by gunpoint. Harry figures out that Trixie is involved with the curse and they\\u2019re trying to target Arturo\\u2019s future wife. Trixie lets Dresden know that they\\u2019ve disabled his counter spell and they just have to wait for the curse to start, which is any minute.

Blood Rites Chapter 26 Summary:

Dresden disarms Trixie but not before she gets two shots off, shooting herself in the process and the second shot killing Emma influenced by the malocchio. Dresden flees the scene when he realizes that he looks like the shooter. Joan stops him during his escape and Harry convinces her to let him leave.
