Ep. 152 “Journey to a Television Producer” with Carolina Galeno, Co-hosted by Jordan (Jay) Alford

Published: June 16, 2020, 9 a.m.

At the young age of 17, Caroliana Galeano volunteered as a television co-host and producer. After college Carolina became a television producer and director at Montgomery College Television.  Her  focus is on multicultural audiences where she produces a range of digital content for TV and radio in Spanish, Amharic, Vietnamese and French.

Usually, I ask questions from the perspective of the student in my podcast, however, today’s episode is extra special because I brought on one of my Mastering College to Career Academy students to co-host the show!

Jordan (Jay) is a recent graduate who currently produces my podcast and is an aspiring television producer and talk show host; so, what better way to gain insight on the industry than to talk to the amazing Carolina Galeano!

Tune in to today’s extra special episode of the Mastering College to Career podcast to learn: what you should be doing right now if you’re looking into going into television production, how creating a niche from your unique qualities and interests can work in your favor and how to make your passion, skills and experience work to your advantage during times of uncertainty.
