Tip #1: Plan Your Semester in Advance

  • Put all of your tests and major assignments on your calendar
  • Schedule the career fair and other events hosted by Career Services
  • Schedule other major events 

Tip #2: Make a Good Impression With Your Professors 

  • Introduce yourself to your professors and let them know that you are excited for the semester
  • Sit in the front of the class and ask questions 
  • Visit your professor’s office hours in the first two weeks 

Tip #3: Speed Date Student Organizations

  • Throughout the first two weeks of the semester, student organizations are recruiting new members. Make sure to attend the info sessions
  • Network with student organizations and find your niche
