Where does the economy go from here?

Congress finally got it together and passed a COVID-19 relief package this week. But let’s do some numbers. Consumer spending fell nearly half a percent last month — the first decrease since April. Personal income also fell by a little over 1% — the third decline in four months. And with more Paycheck Protection Program money on the way, small business owners haven’t forgotten that the first rollout wasn’t exactly smooth.
