Here’s an update on my thoughts on the Market:

We’re still in a bull market (a bull market is a period where the stock market at asset prices continue to rise. There’s optimism for future outlook among investors).

I’m still bullish on GOLD. It has seemed to move inversely over the years to Bitcoin and as we know, Bitcoin took some pre workout and is now on a rampage. Staying in the trade until my exit criteria is met

Option prices are a bit inflated for me. Though a profit can still be made, I don’t like paying a premium so I’ll be sticking with selling premium to the market until the IV comes down. (premium is the price of the contract above its intrinsic value) I put out a tweet explaining what intrinsic value is

In addition I’ll be doing some swing trades when I see some rotations (buyers moving from one sector to another)

Charts I like: FB, AAPL, AMD, RKT, & AAL

Worth only $27 billion at the start of last year...yeah, ONLY right.

In a Pandemic, where so many people were struggling, Elon’s net worth grew a staggering $160+ billion.

But why?

Demand. Price only reacts to demand

Many reasons:

Tesla officially became a profitable company last year

Increase in vehicle deliveries, sales and expansion into Chinese market (Big deal..there’s a lot of people there.)

Addition to S&P 500 create necessity for many funds to accumulate the stock to correct their holdings

If a fund is meant to match the S&P 500. Then they have no choice but to add the stock, which creates a demand of necessity and not just desire.

Ability to raise capital for future growth

Investors believe in the company’s growth potential, many willing investors

Tesla is ahead of the competition in EV. The wave is here and they were already ready to surf it. Other competitors with the manufacturing capacity to compete have to syphon revenue to invest in electrifying.

This gives Tesla a head start in other growth areas

Anticipation of investors that Biden administration, that has finally been confirmed, will bode well for EV industry

2 underrated reasons:

Elon Musk\'s open kitchen style approach

Much more accessible than other Kingpins because he’s active on social media. Retail and professionals alike are eager to be involved with him because of that personal connection

Jeff had a divorce

Had to give up a quarter of his stocks to his ex-wife.
