EPISODE 22: Back in the heyday of vinyl, Andy VanDette started, as intern, at the legendary Masterdisk. After completing his degree in Tonmeister Studies, he was hired full time. During the explosion of the audio CD format, he created CD Masters and Radio Edits with mastering luminaries while observing their perspectives on processing and musicality. By the time the MFiT standard was introduced, Andy had been Chief Engineer for 14\\xa0 years and mastered classic albums from the Beastie Boys, Uncle Kracker, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, Rush, Deep Purple, Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, and more.
