This week the gals finish the Shadow & Bone Trilogy with Ruin & Rising. The gals are still confused by the Darklina ship and talk about why they feel the Darkling doesn't actually have a redemption arc. And for the first time in LYV history, Nicole and Madison disagree on a character. While Nicole jumps on the Mal Protection Squad, Madison expresses concerns about Mal's character depth.
The gals also talk about the TV show and how excited they are about the castings and the potential for a successfully book-adapted TV show. And at the very end of the episode, Madison and Nicole talk about Contemporary Romance names that are silly and how there shouldn't be Grandpa Kodiaks.
