Featuring Mark Lanegan\\xa0on\\nvocals, the Screaming Trees were largely overlooked in their day despite being\\naround at the right place and right time, securing a major label contract, and\\nbeing an integral part of the Seattle scene.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\xa0\\n\\n\\nFollowing the discussion of the Screaming\\nTrees and a couple of digressions, they proceed to talk about the 1995 album\\n\\u201cAbove\\u201d by Mad Season. \\xa0A one album super-group project featuring members\\nof Alice in Chains, The Screaming Trees, and Pearl Jam, Mad Season was recorded\\nas an artistic response to the substance abuse issues in the Seattle scene.\\n\\xa0\\xa0While the album did well and contained a couple of well-known\\nsongs, the deaths of 2 of the bands members effectively ended the band.
