Today we recorded our blending trial for the 2019 Percheron Block pinot noir. Though being sourced from a single site in the vineyard, block-designate wines are pieced together from a number of lots from various combinations of fermentors and barrels. Blending trials are important to figure out how these components can be brought together to achieve the best balance.
