Abraham Josephine Riesman is a journalist who writes often for\xa0New York and is the author of\xa0True Believer: The Rise and Fall of Stan Lee. Her second book,\xa0Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America, will be published in March.\n\u201cYou\u2019re sure that there\u2019s a level of unreality, but you\u2019re not sure that it\u2019s all fake. There\u2019s stuff there that seems either plausible or sometimes you go \u2018there\u2019s no way you could fake that.\u2019 And sometimes you\u2019re right, and a lot of times you\u2019re somewhere in the middle. It\u2019s not as easily distinguished as saying this is fact and this is fiction, this was scripted and this was improvised, whatever.
