Matt Dermody, former Toronto Blue Jay and Iowa Hawkeye baseball player and current member of the Chicago Cubs organization, joins the show today to talk about his journey in baseball from a prep star at Norwalk to pitching on the world's biggest stage. Matt was drafted four times (once out of high school), and had an unfortunate and unknown injury that resulted in him returning to school after planning to sign with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
