Pottery

Montreal post-punk five-piece Pottery stormed Paste's Atlanta Studio in October to perform songs from their debut EP No. 1, out now via Partisan Records. Our new Atlanta studio has hosted more than 50 sessions so far, but Pottery made our desks rumble the most. They performed four songs: "Spell," "The Craft" and "Lifeline Costume," all from their EP, plus a brand new, currently untitled track. Their eight-minute EP closer "Lifeline Costume" was a particular highlight, packed with breakneck guitar solos that ramp up and settle down with wacky precision. Pottery members also gabbed about their favorite fast food. For them the choice is clear: McDonald's for breakfast, Wendy's for Lunch and Taco Bell for dinner.
