b'Michael Ian Black is a multi-media talent who\\u2019s starred in numerous films and TV series, written and/or directed two films, is a prolific author and commentator, and regularly tours the country performing his ribald brand of jokes and observations. He most recently starred in TVLand\'s \\u201cThe Jim Gaffigan Show\\u201d and Comedy Central\\u2019s \\u201cAnother Period.\\u201d He also reprised one of his iconic film roles in Netflix\\u2019s \\u201cWet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later,\\u201d and previously in "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp." His third standup comedy special, \\u201cNoted Expert,\\u201d was released on Epix.\\nBlack\\u2019s authored 11 books, including the recently released best seller, \\u201cA Chilad\\u2019s First Book of Trump.\\u201d He\\u2019s written two well-received memoirs: \\u201cNavel Gazing: True Tales of Bodies, Mostly Mine (but also my mom\\u2019s, which I know sounds weird)\\u201d, and \\u201cYou\'re Not Doing It Right: Tales of Marriage, Sex, Death and Other Humiliations.\\u201d In 2012, he collaborated with conservative Meghan McCain on \\u201cAmerica, You Sexy Bitch: A Love Letter to Freedom.\\u201d He\\u2019s the author of \\u201cMy Custom Van (and 50 Other Mind-Blowing Essays That Will Blow Your Mind All Over Your Face),\\u201d and seven children\'s books, including \\u201cCock-a-Doodle-Doo-Bop!,\\u201d \\u201cNaked\\u201d, \\u201cChicken Cheeks,\\u201d \\u201cThe Purple Kangaroo,\\u201d \\u201cA Pig Parade Is A Terrible Idea\\u201d and \\u201cI\'m Bored.\\u201d He also writes book reviews for the New York Times.\\nPreviously, Black released two stand-up specials, \\u201cVery Famous\\u201d and \\u201cI Am A Wonderful Man.\\u201d He and Tom Cavanagh host the popular podcast, \\u201cMike and Tom Eat Snacks.\\u201d He also writes and hosts a podcast with Michael Showalter, "Topics,\\u201d and his own interview podcast, \\u201cHow To Be Amazing.\\u201d\\nSketch comedy fans know Black\\u2019s work on \\u201cThe State,\\u201d \\u201cViva Variety,\\u201d \\u201cStella\\u201d and \\u201cMichael and Michael Have Issues\\u201d all of which he co-created, wrote and starred in. He recently starred in two hit web series that migrated to cable TV: \\u201cBurning Love\\u201d on E! and \\u201cYou\\u2019re Whole\\u201d on Adult Swim.\\nBlack\\u2019s movie roles include \\u201cSlash,\\u201d \\u201cSmosh: The Movie,\\u201d \\u201cThey Came Together,\\u201d \\u201cHell Baby,\\u201d \\u201cThis is 40,\\u201d \\u201cWet Hot American Summer,\\u201d \\u201cTake Me Home Tonight,\\u201d \\u201cReno 911!: Miami,\\u201d \\u201cThe Ten\\u201d and \\u201cThe Baxter.\\u201d\\nBlack wrote and directed the film \\u201cWedding Daze,\\u201d starring Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher.
