b'Arian Moayed is an Iranian-born award-winning actor and \\nthe co-founder of Waterwell, a civic-minded and\\nsocially conscious non-profit art and education\\ncompany.\\nWith Waterwell, recent productions include The\\nFlores Exhibits, a series of videos in which artists,\\nlawyers, advocates, and immigrants read the sworn\\ntestimonies of children held in detention facilities at\\nthe U.S./Mexico border (flores\\nexhibits.org), The Courtroom: a re-enactment of one\\nwoman\\u2019s deportation proceedings, named "Best\\nTheater of 2019" by The New York Times, and a\\ndual-language Hamlet (Arian played the title role).\\nWaterwell also created Fleet Week Follies, an\\nannual festival of music, food, and kid-friendly\\nactivities, free to military service members and their families.\\nAt the Waterwell Education Program, over 250 students per year receive world-class arts\\ntraining and education in advocacy at the Professional Performing Arts School, all free of\\ncharge. He has been a faculty member for nearly 15 years, currently teaching the Artist as\\nCitizen and Senior Capstone classes.\\nAs a writer/director, Arian has created the Emmy-nominated thriller, The Accidental Wolf,\\nproduced by Topic, starring Tony-winners Kelli O\\u2019Hara, Laurie Metcalf, Sahr Nguajah, and\\nmany more. Current writing projects include 28 Mordad (upcoming), a film version of The\\nCourtroom (Archer Gray/Topic) and a film adaptation of The Man in Red.
