Hi there, I\u2019m Jack and I\u2019m Margarita and welcome back to Lithuanian Out Loud.\xa0 Do you remember the Lithuanian word for February?\xa0 We\u2019ll give you a moment\u2026vasaris.\xa0 In vasaris we\u2019re looking forward to summer or vasara.
R\u016bpestis is the Lithuanian word for anxiety, concern or worry.\xa0 A charming part of Lithuania\u2019s culture is the tradition of the worrying man.\xa0 You can see him at crossroads, or sitting on a tree stump.\xa0 He worries while sitting on a wall or even in a home.\xa0 The worrying man is named R\u016bpintoj\u0117lis and he can often be seen by the side of the road.\xa0 He\u2019s one of the oldest symbols of Lithuanian culture.
R\u016bpintoj\u0117lis is carved from wood in many different styles but mostly you see him sitting, leaning on an elbow worrying about his troubles.\xa0 Of course, gift shops have picked up on the idea and now it\u2019s easy to find a small R\u016bpintoj\u0117lis who can go home with you in the palm of your hand.

I like it because there is transportation, public transportation: tolleybuses, buses. And for example if we need to have a ride from one side of the city to another it doesn\u2019t take long and they go very often \u2013 every five minutes, if it is in the day time. If it is in the evening not so often \u2013 every 15 to 20 minutes. And at night, at night we have night buses so at night one can\u2026..the bus goes every hour. Sometimes even up to two times in one hour.
