The most important time you have with a new patient is the first five minutes that they are in your office, and in the chair. Reinforce the phone call by starting a similar line of dialogue when you meet in person. Get all the information you need from both the patient and the significant other if applicable. You need to be thorough in order to provide complete dental care.\\xa0
