Trudy J Smith is a North Carolina writer, best known for the cult classic, WHITE CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS, The True Story of the Lawson Family Murders of Christmas Day, 1929 as well as her subsequent book on the same subject, THE MEANING OF OUR TEARS. Trudy was born in 1953 in rural Piedmont North Carolina to Doris Mae Wade Jones and M. Bruce Jones. In 1990, she and her father, M. Bruce Jones, collaborated to publish their first soft cover book on the infamous Lawson Family murders.
