Today we're excited to welcome to the show Eric Sapp, President, and Founder of Public Democracy. Pioneering the “Data for Good” movement, Eric and his team work with partners to bring responsible and ethical use of data to public policy and the private marketplace. Whether he's successfully enrolling a fully representative sample of Black Americans and other marginalized communities into COVID-19 trials, creating data systems and processes to create more transparency and trust in the political information that is put out on the web, or leading recruitment for the case against Monsanto over RoundUp’s role in causing cancer Eric and his team are using big data to deliver more equity and unique solutions on behalf of communities that are vulnerable or left out.
