The third agreement is: Don't make assumptions. The human race has this want to always assume that we know what someone is thinking or doing. We assume that people know us so well that they just know what we want. All assumptions do is create a false hope and unfulfilled expectations. The fastest way to create friction and arguments in any relationship, is to assume. We need to learn how to build our courage up so that we can ask questions and stop assuming.
