Leslie Ann Coles is an award winning screenwriter and filmmaker who works with both scripted and non-scripted material and has worked in a variety of genres, including shorts and features, television, documentary, and interactive digital media.
\nColes is an alumna of the Women in the Director\u2019s Chair program and is the founder and Executive Director of The Female Eye Film Festival (FeFF) in Toronto, Canada. In her capacity as festival director, she evaluates and selects independent films from more
\nthan 2,500 international entries every year; she has become intimately familiar with the local and international filmmaking communities. A key strength is her ability to creatively strategize projects and determine their potential with collaborators during the development and pre-production process, always with a critical understanding of a film\u2019s milieu, be it social, cultural, or art-focused.
