DIMINISH Space Increase Results

The blue and red lights came on and I pulled over. Although the cop eventually saw that I had a passenger laying back in the passenger seat, while speeding down the commuter lane, his friendly warning about my speed cost us precious minutes, and we would be late for our committee session at the Capital.

I sent a quick text to notify my people that we would be late, and pulled carefully back into traffic. As we walked into the large granite building we were quickly guided into the committee room, and took a seat on the front row just a few feet from where the legislators were sitting.

Looking around I was relieved that the meeting had not yet started, turned to ask an older gentleman seated behind us and found out the committee didn’t have a quorum yet and we would be waiting till they did. Once the meeting came to order, and the agenda read in, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) was added, as our intel had conveyed, and we were off and running.

You may believe in government monitoring corporations impact environmentally, and socially, determining a score which directly effects their credit and investment risk or not. That is not the point. The point is, we were there along with 20 or 30 others to listen, comment, and get the Chairman’s gavel pounded in response to our clapping, and comments. We were there to meet face to face with the legislators that decide whether, or not our state would accept laws that effect us directly.

DIMINISHING space cost me half of my day, and a possible speeding ticket, yet put me front row (literally), and face to face with those people that make the decisions. Speaking with many of them after the session, they now know us as constituents that will hold them accountable for their actions both now and in the future.

Compared with the alternative of waiting for them to pass a law I may not agree with, complain to my buddies about it, and vote them out office at a later date, DIMINISHING the actual space between us was way more effective. DIMINISHED space in self defense puts us in control, and at times makes us far more effective when being attacked, and DIMINISHED space put us in control that day also.

Where in your life do you have “space” that could be DIMINISHED in a conflict that will make a difference, the difference that potentially will change everything. When key decisions matter, we loose, or save life, depending on the closeness, or DIMINISHED space we control, or do not control.

DIMINISHED space, increases connection, and results changing everything. DIMINISH space and increase your power to save life. DIMINISH…
