What, or who lives, survives and thrives? In self-defense and life itself, it\u2019s always the one that ADAPTS.

Some might point to evolution, for our conversation we will not debate this controversial theory of species jumping, Big Bang or Creationism. That being said, it is obvious that ADAPTATION is a PRINCIPLE of survival.

Yesterday after a 30 minute drive to a specialty supply house, I found myself sitting in the parking lot staring at the blank screen of my phone that had failed to charge.

With no list, and no phone numbers that I\u2019d never bothered to memorize, my dependency on technology had me stranded. I started the car and drove away to reunite with my computer and get connected once again. I literally was a technology addict looking for a fix.

I have ADAPTED and now rely on technology. Although in this instance technology dependence proved a sobering failing, without my ADAPTATION to it I would find myself back in a paper driven world where my only resource would be static hard copy and memorization.

Although my reliance on my mini super computer was crippling, non-ADAPTATION would reduce my ability to detail the parts, find alternatives, communicate with others, access hundreds of reviews, look for alternate locations, and play videos of different applications and installations of my parts list.

Just a few hundred years earlier I would not have books printed with movable type capturing the world of knowledge, and before paper I might be limited to cave drawings and verbal communication.

The ADAPTATION of everything from plants and animals to humans reaching the outer parts of our universe is a real thing. In self-defense ADAPTATION become a matter of survival.

In your daily life what have you ADAPTED to? What has been the effect either as an improvement or not in your life?

As you look at your highly ADAPTIVE world will you consider both and ask why? Why ADAPT to this new gadget, theory, or thought process being adopted by the masses?

Does this ADAPTATION serve me well? Does this new occurrence of life move humanity toward better and more life?

For me I might not bring a note pad the next time I drive to the next town for parts, however I may memorize a few key phone numbers and make sure my phone is charged.

One valuable lesson I will however consider is why, and how I ADAPT to my world each day. Because attacks come in many forms and why, how, what I ADAPT to makes a difference.

From now on I will ask if the newest evolution of thought or technology furthers life and decide\u2026
