Why would they care to be a part of your community instead of doing any other activity?\\n- Determine your key people you want to have join your community.\\n- Allow/enable your community to generate value through (a) forums, (b) feedback, (c) advocacy/marketing.\\n- The main purpose/benefit of groups is commitment and retention.\\n- When developing a community, make sure that your whole team/all your employees are involved in developing it (rather than having only one individual focused on it). \\n- As a leader, provide sufficient support and guidance when developing community.\\n- "Earn a browser tab" in your community members\' lives.\\n- Your users want to know two things about you: Do you know what success look like for me? Can you help me achieve that success?\\n\\nQUESTIONS TO INSPIRE US TO ACTION\\n\\n- What is some lesson, saying, or experience that continues to influence your leadership to this day? "This too shall pass" - both the good and the bad. Keep them both in perspective.\\n- Use three descriptors to finish this sentence: \\u201cA leader is\\u2026\\u201d Involved (but not pushy), empathetic, and a listener.\\n- What is a question that leaders should be asking either themselves or others? Have I earned my position today as a leader?\\n- What book would you recommend to leaders? The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey.\\n- If you could get every listener to start doing something THIS week to help them be a better leader, what would it be? Read every day.
