Here\u2019s a real quick thought. I go through great pains to use precise language when it comes to talking about Left and liberals. The two terms are commonly conflated, but it is ever apparent that they are two different groups. The modern Left want something very different than classical liberals. Many, including in the conservative commentary space use the term, out of habit, even carelessly. So, without going into a deep dissertation on the differences, (which I\u2019m perfectly glad to do, just not now), here is a pretty good summary of each group\u2019s main focus\u2026

Liberals:\xa0Want to be allowed to do whatever they want.

The Left:\xa0Want to do whatever they want, and for you to do whatever they want.

Libertarians:\xa0Want to do whatever they want that doesn\u2019t hurt others, and for others to do whatever they want, if it doesn\u2019t hurt others.

As a bonus, I\u2019ll throw one in for conservatives,

Conservatives:\xa0Basically, the same as libertarians, so long as it\u2019s worked before.
