\\u2022Albert A. Goodson and his twin brother were born 1933 in Los Angeles, California had no idea what legacy he would leave Gospel Music and the world.\\xa0 Almost every church around the world has sung his most famous hymn \\u201cWe\\u2019ve Come This Far By Faith\\u201d.\\n\\n\\u2022When he wrote the song, he said it was one of the lowest times in his young life and he was feeling home sick.\\xa0 The lyrics and music flowed through him, so he felt that it was definitely a message from the Lord.\\n\\n\\u2022Albert Goodson did not know what he wanted to do other than do something in music as a child.\\xa0 After discovering the beauty in hearing choirs sing and mainly inspired by The Sallie Martin Singers.\\xa0 He begun singing and getting training from J. Earle Hines and Gwendolyn Cooper-Lightner.\\n\\n\\u2022Albert served as pianist for many \\u2013 but wrote his hit song while as Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL under the Pastor, Rev.
