Pearson & Live at AZUSA \\n\\n\\u2022Carlton was born in San Diago, CA March 19, 1953, at the early age of about 4- or 5-years old Carlton got saved.\\xa0 During his early teen years, he began preaching and ministering.\\xa0 By the age of\\n18 he was an ordained minister who had received a scholarship to attend Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1971.\\n\\n\\u2022In 1988, Carlton Pearson founded the Azusa Interdenominational Fellowship; a ministry network which counted nearly 600 churches.\\xa0 Azusa came to be known for the annual conferences drawing crowds in the tens of thousands from around the world and launched the careers of well-known evangelists\\nand recording artists. \\n\\n\\u2022An accomplished musician, Bishop Carlton Pearson has been the recipient of two Stellar awards and one Dove award for accomplishments in gospel and contemporary Christian music. \\n\\nBishop Pearson\'s "Live at AZUSA" albums were nominated for several Dove and Stellar Awards.
