In this week\\u2019s episode I sit down with Marc Hallworth. Marc Hallworth is a stand up comedian, sketch writer/performer, improviser, actor, and teacher originally from Calgary. In our conversation today we discuss how he was introduced to the arts, what made him choose to pursue a career in the arts and what he learned from his time in school, as well as the main lessons he took from some of his first experiences in the industry. We also discuss his process when approaching stand up comedy and sketch writing, some of his most positive experiences in the industry and what made them so positive, as well as the advice he would give people looking to get more involved in the world of stand up comedy and where he hopes to see the performing arts in Canada headed in the future.
