Sarah Friedman and legendary New Orleans vocalist Aaron Neville (The Neville Brothers, Linda Ronstadt) are the proprietors of Freville Farm in Pawling, NY. Besides discussing farming in the Hudson Valley and the problems this year’s crazy weather has caused, Leonard asks Aaron about his move from New Orleans to this area in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Freville Farm products are created in a solar powered kitchen just steps away from their fields. Working in small batches using as many ingredients from their own Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) produce and source only the best when they can’t. They practice a sustainable, diverse and holistic approach to stewarding land and food. "The footprint is small but our flavor is big," is their motto.
