Senate Bill 253, which would establish pilot projects for charter schools in Louisville and Lexington, wins approval of the Senate Education Committee after more than an hour of testimony and discussion. The bill now moves forward for a vote in the Senate. Renee Shaw recaps the day's activity from the General Assembly.
