In this episode, the host and guest, Judge Jessica D\u2019Varga talk about \u201cDisrupting the Cycle of Incarceration\u201d and the program (Unleashing Potential) pioneered by Judge D\u2019Varga to prevent incarceration, reduce recidivism and assist young adults entangled within the criminal justice to transform their lives.
D\u2019Varga is the Vice Chair of the Franklin County Criminal Justice Planning Board and will be presiding over the Franklin County Municipal Court\u2019s Recovery Court docket in 2022. She has also launched a diversion docket for emerging adults between the ages of 18-25 called Unleashing Potential (\u201cUP\u201d).
