b"Happy Spooky Wednesday and HAPPY HOMEGROWN ONE AND ALL!!! This week we recorded very early in preparation for our favorite music festival and the results are a little... chaotic? First up, Kala wanted to discuss something music related this week, so she's telling us all about the haunting of Meat Loaf. This beloved rock and roll star was known for his awesome music as well as roles in some amazing films. What we learn this week is that he also had a few encounters with ghosts in his life. From his brushes with the afterlife while recording the iconic Bat Out of Hell album all the way to his last investigation with the TAPS team before his passing, you're gonna love hearing all about his paranormal experiences. Next, Brittany talks about Dead Woman's Crossing in Weatherford, OK. While this location may not look creepy at first glance, it's got a pretty wild story that inspired the name. A tale of sadness and MERDY *ahem* excuse me... we mean MURDER. A story of a young mother who trusted the wrong people, and now it would seem that her spirit can not rest. Finally, we finish up with the tale of Phantom Canyon Road near Colorado Springs, CO. This scenic byway is known to many locals, but the origins behind its name remain a mystery. Is it named after the beautiful scenery? An escaped death row prisoner? Or just a plot by the tourism board? \\n\\nIf you're interested in checking out Duluth Homegrown Music Festival for yourself, or even volunteering to get a pass to the festival, visit https://duluthhomegrown.org/ for more details! We hope to see you out and around town enjoying music with us this week!"
