67: How long have you...? How to use da in Italian

\nDa quanto tempo vivi in Italia? = How long have you been living in Italy?
\nDa = since
\nquanto tempo = how much time
\nVivi = you live
\nin Italia = in Italy
\nDa quanto tempo = how long have you\u2026. (lit. since how much time)
\nVivo in Italia da quasi 10 anni = I\u2019ve been living in Italy for almost 10 years.

\nVivo = I live
\nin Italia = in Italy
\nda = since
\nquasi = almost
\ndieci anni = ten years
\nE tu? = And you?
\nOvviamente vivi in Italia da tutta la vita, pi\xf9 o meno = Obviously you\u2019ve been living in Italy for your whole life, more or less.
\nOvviamente = obviously
\nvivi = you live
\nin Italia = in Italy
\nda = since
\ntutta la vita = the whole life
\npi\xf9 = more
\no = or
\nmeno = less
\nMa da quanto tempo vivi a Milano? = But how long have you been living in Milan?
