The stars the Canadiens lean on and the stars that need to align
There are a few things we\u2019ve heard just about enough of: that Carey Price\u2019s franchise record for wins doesn\u2019t hold any weight, and that the Canadiens would be better off missing the playoffs. Price is well deserving of the record and the Canadiens, as long as they round into form during the home stretch, will be deserving of a playoff spot. But there is no denying that the team will need to lean on its biggest star to earn that spot, especially since the 5-on-5 production has been trending down since the All-Star break and that the blue line \u2013 starting with Shea Weber and Jordie Benn \u2013 has been shaky.
