J. D.'s dark times far exceed many of the hardships that most of us will ever face. \xa0The loss of a spouse or child is one of the most devastating experiences a person can undergo. \xa0He lost his first wife, the mother to his four children, to breast cancer in 2012, then lost his second wife to a brain aneuyrism in 2019. \xa0Along the way, J. D. owned a rodeo magazine and was an agriculture teacher at their local school, where he currently teaches today. \xa0His journey as a single father of four has pushed him to his limits and presented many challenges, but he always held onto to his Faith in Christ and his kids are his rock.
