Michelle is the Gold Star Widow of Green Beret, Bryan Black, who was killed in action when his team was ambushed on a mission in Niger, Africa back in 2017. Michelle wrote a book called Sacrifice: A Gold Star Widow's fight for the truth, in her quest to understand the real story of her husband's death. She currently does speaking engagements and continues to support other Gold Star families who have suffered significant loss.
