Nevada County Must Comply With SB 1383 By January
Beginning January 2025 Nevada County residents will be required to separate food waste from the rest of their trash in order to bring the County into compliance with Senate Bill 1383, the California state law enacted to reduce the amount of methane and other greenhouse gasses emitted by landfills.
