No Grudges
On this weeks episode I’m Kush Chatting with Lead Singer Crystalla Gonzalez & Lead Guitarist Gabriel Castellar of the band No Grudges who since their time in high school have not only been songwriting partners but partners in real life. In 2011, they started their first band together which led them to be able to perform in NYC’s top venues such as Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater, Webster Hall, and even the infamous, iHeart Radio Theater. They also participated in both CMJ and CBGB festivals along with opening up for Bad Brains legendary singer, HR. In the beginning of 2020, Gabriel and Crystalla decided to move forward with the name, No Grudges. They felt the name vibed with their new sound and philosophy. No Grudges sound is a heavier Red Hot Chili Peppers meets Paramore. They look forward to releasing their debut EP in the spring of this year.
